A La Card Monkey #98

I got a new stamp set this weekend from Stamps of Life and thought this sketch from A La Card Monkey #98 would be the perfect place to use it.

My inspiration

 I am in love with orange right now.  I did have to go buy an orange stamp pad (thanks for Momento Dew Drop sets).  I am still depleting my stash.  I used quite a bit of the ribbon, which used to have wire at the edges.  The card stock and scraps is slowly but surely reducing my stash.

Freshly Made Sketches #24

Been a busy week for me and I kind of lost my creative mojo.  So today, while cruising the sites for creative ideas, I felt inspired.  Freshly Made Sketches #24 has a very simple sketch and some wonderful examples.  I was most inspired by Lesley Croghan.  I am very drawn to the orange and the different elements she used.  Thanks Lesley!

My insipiration

I am continuing to use up my stash.  This all came from a kit I purchased from Scrapbook Steals.  I am down to a few pieces of card stock, so it won't be long until it's gone.  The owl and swirls are from two stamp sets I got at the craft store.  The edge trim is from a Tim Holtz die...I got to use my Big Shot.  I added some rhinestones for some bling.
